O’Hara Elementary School

When O’Hara Elementary School was in need of major renovations and upgrades, T&W ensured that the project, occurring during the school year and summer break, would run smoothly. After careful development, we created detailed phasing plans that would guide the Contractors through the process in order to secure a timely delivery. The school made significant upgrades to the Administration suite, library, classrooms, restrooms and replaced exterior doors for enhanced security.
After the initial bids were rejected, T&W provided detailed estimates for each component of work by area of the building being considered for renovation. After reviewing the estimates by area with the District, a redefined scope of work was included in the re-bid of the project. This exercise provided the information needed to issue an addendum to the bidders that netted the District a project that fit the initial project budget.
